SparkNight ("we", "us") is a web app for two people in a couple to match on date-night ideas using AI-styled photos. This page explains what we collect, how it's used, and the controls you have. The short version: your original photos are never shown to anyone — including your partner, generated images are shared only with your explicit, revocable consent, and there are no public feeds.

What we collect

Account data — your name, email address, and a hashed password (we never store the password itself).
Photos — the photos you upload of yourself. They are stored on our servers and used solely to generate styled date-night images of you.
Generated images — the AI-styled scene images created from your photos.
Usage data — your swipes, matches, and token balance, used to run the matching mechanic.
Landing analytics — anonymous first-party page-view and click events (with campaign tags like utm_source) on our marketing page. We use no third-party analytics or advertising trackers on sparknight.cc.

Photos and AI generation

Uploaded photos are sent to an AI image-generation service (Google Gemini) together with a scene description to produce styled images of you. Your original upload is never displayed to your partner or anyone else. Generated images of you are shown to your linked partner only while your consent toggle is on; switching it off stops sharing and wipes the shared cache.

Sharing and visibility

Only your one linked partner can see your AI-styled images — never other users, never publicly.
Your individual swipes are private; your partner only learns about a card when you both like it and it becomes a match.
We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

Payments

Token purchases are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers; we store only the purchase record (package, amount, Stripe session id).

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. No cross-site or advertising cookies.

Deleting your data

Revoke consent at any time in the app — shared generated images stop being visible and the shared cache is wiped.
Unlink from your partner — this dissolves the couple and deletes your shared swipes and matches.
Full deletion — email us and we'll delete your account, photos, and generated images.
